Sari Stark

Sari Stark is a plant ecologist with a research focus on plant-soil -interactions and soil microbial processes and carbon stocks in northern boreal and tundra ecosystems. Studying the impact of global changes and herbivory on soil carbon and nutrient cycles forms a major line of her research. Recently she has also adopted historical ecological approach in investigations on long-term northern ecosystem change.
